2. General information

2.1 These general terms and conditions apply to all products, ceramics workshops and other activities organised or offered by La Fé Collection. By placing an order or by registering via our website, the participant agrees to these terms and conditions.

2.2 We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. The customer is responsible for regularly consulting these terms and conditions.

A. With regard specifically to purchases on the website, the following conditions apply:

3. Agreement, in respect of purchases on the website

3.1 An agreement exists when a private customer has placed an order via our website.

3.2 An agreement exists when a business customer has returned a signed quotation or placed an order via our website.

4. Product information

4.1 The products we offer are handmade, which means that each product is unique. Images on the website may therefore differ from the delivered product.

4.2 We update the site regularly, but all products are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

5. Prices and payment in respect of purchases on the website

5.1 All prices on the website include 21% VAT excluding shipping costs. Product prices are subject to change without prior notice. The new prices do not apply to orders already paid.

5.2 Shipping costs will be stated separately during the ordering process, if applicable.

5.3 Payments should be made via the payment methods as specified on the website.

5.4 After placing the order, the customer will receive a confirmation e-mail from us summarising the order and the total cost.

5.5 We reserve the right to refuse or limit orders on a per person basis.

6. Delivery and shipment

6.1 The destination is the address the customer has made known in the ordering process. The destination can be changed via mail notification until the order is dispatched. Once the order has been dispatched, the customer will be notified of this. Orders are always sent with Track & Trace.

6.2 We aim to dispatch orders within two/three weeks of receiving payment. This deadline is an indication and no rights can be derived from it.

6.3 We are not responsible for lost orders due to incorrect information provided by the customer.

6.4 We are not responsible for damage, loss or delays during delivery by the delivery service. We will make every effort to find an appropriate solution in such cases.

7. Right of withdrawal

7.1 The customer has the right to cancel the order within 14 days of receipt without giving any reason.

7.2 Returns are possible provided the product is returned unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.

7.3 To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must send us the completed withdrawal form found on our website www.lafecollection.nl at info@lafecollection.nl. Orders can be returned only after prior notification via e-mail.

7.4 If the aforementioned conditions are met, the customer will be refunded the full order amount excluding shipping costs.

7.5 The amount due will be transferred to the account number with which the customer paid within 5 days of receipt.

8. Warranty and liability

8.1 We guarantee that the products meet the specifications as stated on the website.

8.2 Should a product be defective upon receipt, we request that the customer notify us as soon as possible, but no later than 7 days after receipt, at info@lafecollection.nl

8.3 Complaints can be made by contacting us at info@lafecollection.nl. We aim to respond to the complaint within two working days.

8.4 We are not liable for any damage arising from any use of the products.

8.5 Our total liability due to an attributable breach of contract shall be limited to compensation for direct damage up to the amount of the purchase. The liability shall never exceed the amount covered by our liability insurance.

9. Sales in the Showroom

9.1 Our products are also available for direct purchase in our showroom. The following additional conditions apply to purchases in the showroom.

a. Payment - payment for showroom purchases should be made directly via the payment methods indicated in the showroom.

b. Warranty and Returns - for products bought in the showroom, the same warranty applies as for online purchases, unless otherwise stated. Returns are only possible if the product is returned to the showroom within 14 days unused, undamaged and in its original packaging, and upon presentation of the purchase receipt. Refunds for showroom purchases are processed directly in the showroom.

c. Product inspection - as the customer has the opportunity to physically inspect the product in the showroom, the customer is expected to carefully inspect the product before purchase. After purchase, we are not responsible for visible defects that were not identified during the inspection in the showroom.

10. Force majeure

10.1 In the event of force majeure (such as strikes, fire, government measures), we reserve the right to suspend or cancel the agreement without any obligation to pay compensation.

B. With regard specifically to ceramics workshops, the following conditions apply:

11. Registration and payment for workshops

11.1 Registration is via La Fé Collection's website.

11.2 Registration is final on receipt of payment via the website.

11.3 After registration, the participant will receive an e-mail confirmation.

11.4 La Fé Collection reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a workshop in case of insufficient registrations. In this case, a new date will be offered or the amount paid will be refunded.

12. Cancellation of workshops by participant

12.1 Cancellations or changes can be made via the website or by e-mail.

12.2 In case of cancellation and/or prevention, the participant cannot receive a refund of the participation fee.

12.3 However, by agreement, an alternative date may be sought or the participant may send a substitute.

12.4 La Fé Collection will gladly think with you to find a suitable solution.

13. Cancellation or modification of workshops by La Fé Collection

13.1 If a workshop is cancelled due to force majeure (such as illness or other unforeseen circumstances), the participant will be informed as soon as possible.

13.2 A new date will then be offered or the participation fee will be fully refunded.

14. Rules of conduct and safety during the workshops

14.1 During the workshops, the participant must follow the instructions of La Fé Collection's staff.

14.2 La Fé Collection reserves the right to deny participants who misbehave or endanger safety access to the studio or activity without the right to a refund.

15. Liability in respect of workshops

15.1 Participation in the workshops is at your own risk.

15.2 La Fé Collection shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury incurred during or as a result of participation in the workshops.

15.3 During the firing process, ceramics may break or crack unexpectedly; La Fé Collection cannot guarantee or accept liability for this.

15.4 The participant is liable for damage caused to property of La Fé Collection caused by intent or negligence of the participant.

16. Workpieces and glazes

16.1 All pieces made during the workshop will be baked by La Fé Collection itself.

16.2 Once the work pieces are ready, the participant will receive a message with the time when the work can be collected.

16.3 Only La Fé Collection glazes will be used: bringing and using your own glazes is not allowed.

16.4 Only work pieces made on location at La Fé Collection will be baked in our kiln, unless other arrangements are made by mutual agreement. Workpieces made at home or elsewhere cannot be baked at our premises.

16.5 La Fé Collection treats all work pieces with care, but is not responsible for any damage during the drying or baking process.

16.6 During the workshops, La Fé Collection will provide all the materials needed to work on the pieces.

17. Photos and promotion

17.1 Photos may be taken during the workshops for use on social media or La Fé Collection's website.

17.2 Those who do not wish to appear on screen may indicate this prior to the workshops.

18. Privacy

18.1 Personal data will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and will only be used for handling orders or communication about the workshops and will not be shared with third parties.

19. Applicable law and competent court

19.1 All agreements between the customer and La Fé Collection, to which these general terms and conditions apply, shall be governed by Dutch law.

19.2 The District Court of Limburg, location Roermond shall have jurisdiction to hear any disputes.
