Are you looking for a place in your home for your best memories, a precious photo, a gemstone or simply a moment of peace? In this special two-lesson workshop, we will make a handmade ceramic altar.
An altar is more than just an object; it is a personal place that symbolises what is important to you. In this workshop, we take extensive time to design and detail so that your altar has just the right look and feel.
What are we going to do?
- Lesson 1: Shaping & Creating
We get to work with the clay. Under guidance, you will shape your altar step by step. Will it be sleek and modern, or organic with natural textures? You let your own ideas come to life in the clay. - Lesson 2: Colour & Glaze
After your piece is baked the first time, we meet to glaze it. Choose from beautiful colours and effects that will give your altar the look that suits you.
